Hi, I’m Mary!

Lover of all things vintage, nostalgic, and romantic.

I didn’t always know I’d be a wedding photographer and Super 8 filmmaker, but storytelling through images has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My dad always had a camcorder rolling, capturing the little moments that made up our family’s story, and my mom kept boxes filled with old photos—time capsules of love, laughter, and life as it was. One of my favorites? Her 1970s wedding photos. The pink shadows, the soft highlights—they feel like pure nostalgia, and that exactly inspires how I edit my wedding photography today.

Then, a few years ago, I stumbled across something I never expected—a Super 8 film reel that had never been scanned. When I played it, I watched my dad in 1981, teaching my sister how to swim. Seeing those grainy, flickering frames of our own family’s history made me fall even harder for Super 8 wedding films—there’s just something about the way they preserve emotion so purely, so effortlessly.

For a while, I took a different path. I spent 7 years in nursing, but something about it never felt quite right. Then, I picked up a film camera, just for fun, capturing friends and lovers the way I saw them—raw, unfiltered, and real. I fell hard for wedding photography, and before I knew it, I was leaving nursing, moving back home from California, and chasing this dream full-time.

Now, I get to do what I love most—documenting timeless, nostalgic love stories through vintage wedding photography and Super 8 wedding films. Because years from now, when you’re flipping through your own boxes of photos or watching your wedding day play out on film, I want you to feel every single moment all over again.
